Pilates Mat is a great system of mind-body exercises performed on a floor mat, and with a variety of equipment. It is designed for people of different ages and fitness ability. Pilates helps to improve physical strength, develop control and endurance of the body, flexibility, and posture. It puts emphasis on alignment, breathing, stabilisation of various parts of the body, and aims to improve coordination and balance. Pilates exercises do not include a lot of repetitions for each move, rather the emphasis is on doing each exercise fully and with precision to foster quicker results. Intensity can be increased over time as the body conditions. Overall, Pilates, develops a fit body with core strength and stability throughout the entire torso, helping to support the spine as well as overcome possible stress or back pain.
